Financial Manager – PT SatNetCom Balikpapan

We are a small but fast growing systems integrator who designs, develops and implements IT systems combining communications (VSAT, microwave, LANs, etc), hardware (radios, embedded processors, servers, etc), and software primarily for the mining industry.

Financial Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting: Manage all general accounting functions: GL PL, AP, AR. Manage Accounting Manager
  • Reporting: Provide timely, accurate financial reports to management
  • Cash flow: Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predict future cash trends.
  • Finance: Do financial planning for the company and advise senior management on all financial matters. Assist in the formulation of short and long term business plans.
  • Financing: Advise and arrange for outside financing through the banks, or public or private capital markets as appropriate.
  • Taxes: Manage the tax planning so as to minimize taxes while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in the tax laws and evaluate and plan for such changes so as to minimize their negative impact.
  • Budgeting: Manage the budget preparation and reporting at the company, department and project levels.
  • Cost Control: Establish policies, systems and reports to control costs.
  • Inventory management: Manage the inventory operations
  • Fixed Assets management: Manage and control fixed assets
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and propagate financial and expense policies and procedures as required.
  • Government Relations: Maintain a good working relationship with the Tax, Finance and other applicable government agencies.
  • Training: Train and develop subordinates as necessary for their professional growth.
  • Risk Assessment: Keep management advised of all potential financial risks in all of its actual or planned endeavors.
  • Audits: Conducts internal audits as necessary. Manage all external audits.

Requirements:

  • Accounting: Excellent knowledge of generally Accepted accounting Principles and Indonesian account principle in particular. Familiar popular accounting and ERP systems. We are running MYOB but would like to change
  • Finance: Excellent knowledge of financial matters having to do with investments and financial planning.
  • Tax Planning: Excellent knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
  • Budgeting: Excellent knowledge of budgeting methodologies and reporting.
  • Cost Control: Able to perform typical con control controller functions.
  • Education: University degree in accounting or finance
  • Certifications: certified in accounting, finance or taxes
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Fluent English and Indonesian, both written and spoken
  • Minimum if 3 years experience in the same job
  • Job in Balikpapan, Kalimantan
