In coal mining business, SARL has 2 coal producing projects in Indonesia (Sebuku project, South Kalimantan and Jembayan project, East Kalimantan). In construction business, SARL has 3 projects in Indonesia (marine engineering, civil engineering, and transshipment). Due to our continued expansion and recently announced acquisitions, we are seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced candidate for below position in one of our many projects
Shipping Manager
Job Requirement and Specification:
* Good Communication in English will be advantage
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Marine) or equivalent
* At least 5-10 year (s) solid experience in shipping Management for coal company
* Applicants must be willing to work in East Kalimantan (Samarinda)
Job Responsibilities:
* Supervise workers in the loading and unloading of coal barges and loading of coal carriers
* Scheduling of barges during ship loading
* Maintain accurate records of how much coal goes in each barge and how much is in the stockpiles at all times
* Responsible to ensure workers and loading part comply with all safety protocols
* Prepare transport schedules of barges to maximize delivery efficiency for the Company during transshipment operation
* Monitor and minimize demurrage charges incurred by company as far as possible
* Initiate export documentation, bill of loading/manifests and lay time calculation and settlement
* Prepares State of Fact interpretation in order to attribute correct lay time in the settlement of such Dispatch / Demurrage
* Any other and hoc duties as assigned.
