SITE SCAFFOLDING ENGINEER

Job Description : To provide design and calculation of scaffolding structure, to ensure  the work is executed to the client’s specifications
Gender : Male

JOB OBJECTIVES :

* To prepare necessary paperwork (design drawing and strength calculation) for the completion of scaffolding work and get it authorized by the client after their inspection.
* To provide material take of for scaffolding based on the design and calculation.
* To plan and schedule the work and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines.
* To attend coordination meetings with clients and other members of project tea.
* To supervise and monitor the site labour force through General Foreman and or Supervisors, monitoring the work of any subcontractors to complete the work as per customer’s satisfaction.
* To oversee quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensure that regulations are adhered to.
* To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
* To oversee the selection and requisition of scaffolding materials for use in the construction, to check whether the materials are as specified.
* To supervise and ensure proper maintenance of materials and to advise on technology and modifications required for a simpler and cost saving mechanism.
* To develop a relationship with members of the project team and prepare periodical reports on the progress of work.

QUALIFICATION :

* Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil or Mechanical from reputable University.
* Safety Rules and Procedures.
* Knowledge of Practical Application.
* Leadership Skills.
* Customer Relationship Skills.
* Administration and Management Skills.
* Problem Solver.
* Physically Fit.
* Computer Skills: MS Office, Autocad, Software for Scaffolding Calculation.
* 4 to 8 years related work experience.
* Must have good analytical thinking and ability to perform with minimum supervision.
* Able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment.
* Posses a strong organizing, planning, communication, and analytical thinking.
* Hard worker and able to work under pressure.
