PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) operates a coal mine in Sangatta East Kalimantan and is one of the largest export coal mines in the world.

Opportunities exist for a seasoned, high caliber, professional to join the Company with job assignment in Sangatta – East Kalimantan for the positions of:

Supervisor Loss Control (Code : SLC)
(Kalimantan Timur)

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of and control any emergency situation in order to minimise loss of life property and/ or environmental impacts
• Organise all resources including security, safety and medical teams to the incident or fire emergency scene
• Plan, supervise and control routine activities including maintenance of equipment, personnel and self preparedness to cope with any incident or fire emergency within the KPC area
• Monitor stock levels of comsumable materials and equipment
• Perform fire and rescue emergency simulations/drills, prepare and submit the report to the Superintendent

Requirements:

• Minimum Senior High School with 8 years experience in the emergency service of mining operation
• Experience and knowledge in mining with relation to the operation of large eartmoving equipment
• Experience and knowledge in various emergency/rescue operations including the use of inspection, and testing of various fire and emergency equipment
• Knowledge of Indonesian emergency regulations
• Basic knowledge of electricity for domestic/industrial buildings and mechanical for rescue and fire vehicle/equipment
• Good leadership & people management skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Good Knowledge of KPC’s policies & prosedure and Prima Nirbhaya HSE Management System
• Posses “Pengawas Operational Pratama” certification from Directorate General of Mining and Energy
